The entire first series of the BBC comedy starring Sue Perkins as a vet afraid to tell her parents that she's gay. Although she seems to have it all - friends, success, popularity - skilled vet Sara (Perkins) she still hasn't gotten around to telling her elderly parents about her sexual orientation. With her 40th birthday approaching, she's given an ultimatum by her friends to tell her parents when they next visit in six weeks, or they will. Help is at hand, however, as in order to help the process along and allay Sara's rising dread, her friends have saved up to provide her with some sessions with oddball lifestyle guru Toria (Joanna Scanlon).
The complete fourth series of the sitcom following the lives of those who work in a northern supermarket. With Valco's supermarket under new management, Richard France (Chris Geere) arrives to bring fresh ideas to the store. Youthful, driven and inclined to 'think outside the box', Richard's outlook couldn't contrast more starkly with former manager Gavin (Jason Watkins)'s conservative approach. Will the pair be able to work together? And will a new arrival - Colin (Carl Rice)'s nan (Miriam Margolyes) - make life difficult for some of the employees?
First two series of the BBC sitcom created by and starring Jessica Hynes. Inspired by the active women's suffrage movement in London, Margaret (Hynes) returns to her small town of Banbury in 1910 and, with the help of her local craft circle, founds the Banbury Intricate Craft Circle Politely Requests Women's Suffrage group. Hampering their initial success, however, is local activist Helen (Rebecca Front), who sets up her own anti-suffrage league and has an old rivalry with famous suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst (Sandi Toksvig).
